Tapi nyatanya, setelah menjalankan SEO (Search Engine Optimization), SEM (Search Engine Marketing), melakukan kampanye di media sosial serta banyak kegiatan digital marketing lainnya, ia merasa tak tak ada dampak yang berarti dari usaha online marketing yang dijalankan.<\/p>\n<p>Ada lagi teman saya yang berkeluh kesah, supaya lebih dekat dengan generasi milenial yang menjadi target konsumennya, Ia mengaku sudah mengubah dan menyesuaikan <em>budget<\/em>\u00a0marketing yang sebelumnya 100% di\u00a0<em>traditional channel<\/em>, menjadi 40% di\u00a0<em>traditional channel<\/em>\u00a0dan 60% di\u00a0<em>digital channel<\/em>, Tapi kenapa setelah 1 tahun, penjualannya terjun bebas dan mengalami penurunan hingga 30%?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jadi buat apa\u00a0<\/strong><em><strong>digital marketing<\/strong><\/em><strong>, kalau ternyata tidak memberikan kontribusi bagi perusahaan<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Menurut Chartered Institute of Marketing United Kingdom,\u00a0<em>marketing<\/em>\u00a0adalah manajemen proses dalam mengidentifikasi, mengantisipasi dan memenuhi kebutuhan dari konsumennya, yang pada akhirnya dapat memberikan kontribusi positif bagi perusahaan.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam kegiatan\u00a0 marketing, konsumenlah yang menjadi pusat perhatian. Sebelum teman-teman memilih <em>channel<\/em> marketing, ternyata <strong>menentukan konsumen <\/strong>adalah langkah penting dan utama yang harus teman-teman tentukan. Apa yang mereka lakukan ketika mereka membeli sebuah produk? Siapa yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembeliannya? dan banyak pertanyaan lain seputar konsumen yang harus kalian mengerti.<\/p>\n<p>Setelah mengenali konsumen, baru kita akan<strong> memutuskan strategi dan taktik pemasaran<\/strong> seperti apa yang dapat dilakukan. Pasti teman-teman sudah familiar kan dengan prinsip STP (Segmentation, Targeting &amp; Positioning<em>), marketing mix (product,price,place,promotion) <\/em><em>hingga<\/em><em> promotion mix <\/em>yang terdiri dari\u00a0<em>advertising<\/em>,\u00a0<em>public relation<\/em>, hingga\u00a0<em>personal selling.<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>&#8220;Teman-teman bisa memilih saluran atau <em>channel<\/em> kegiatan promosi baik secara konvensional (<em>offline)<\/em> marketing maupun <em>online<\/em> marketing. Lalu, <em>channel<\/em> mana kah yang sebenarnya paling efektif?&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Menurut Chaffey &amp; Ellis-Chadwick,\u00a0<em>digital marketing<\/em>\u00a0merupakan aplikasi dari teknologi\u00a0<em>digital<\/em>, internet, bersama dengan\u00a0<em>traditional<\/em>\u00a0<em>marketing<\/em>\u00a0dalam rangka mencapai\u00a0tujuan <em>marketing<\/em>.\u00a0<em>Digital marketing<\/em>\u00a0akan \u2018bekerja sama\u2019 dengan\u00a0<em>traditional marketing<\/em>\u00a0dalam menjawab tantangan perubahan konsumen yang cepat. Mengapa harus \u2018bekerja sama\u2019? dan bentuk \u2018kerja sama\u2019 yang terjalin seperti apa?.<\/p>\n<p>Kerja sama bisa dilakukan dalam banyak hal, salah satunya dalam bidang riset. Ketika tim marketing ingin mengetahui media cetak apa yang paling potensial bagi konsumennya, mereka bisa melakukan s<em>urvey<\/em> konsumen secara online melalui <em>google form<\/em>. Teknologi seperti Augmented Reality, Virtual Realty, Mixed Reality, atau bahkan Bluetooh Beacon yang telah diaplikasikan di beberapa destinasi dan produk di Indonesia, telah menciptakan sebuah pengalaman baru bagi konsumen saat melakukan konsumsi.<\/p>\n<p>Tantangan terbesar bagi para\u00a0<em>marketer<\/em>\u00a0bukan hanya bagaimana\u00a0 mengantisipasi perkembangan teknologi\u00a0<em>digital<\/em>\u00a0dan memanfaatkannya dalam menciptakan produk layanan, bukan hanya meningkatkan\u00a0<em>sales <\/em>melalui\u00a0<em>digital engagement<\/em>\u00a0bagi produknya, bukan mengetahui bagaimana konsumennya memanfaatkan search engine dan media sosial dalam mencari informasi ataupun berinteraksi.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>&#8220;Tantangan yang terpenting adalah bagaimana\u00a0<em>marketer<\/em>\u00a0dapat mengenali dengan baik konsumennya.
