In the Public Test, 10 Candidates for the PPKS Task Force Selection Committee presented their opinions regarding sexual violence at Prasetiya Mulya University very well. They received input from the panelists and Prasmul residents who were present. One of the interesting questions posed by the internal panelist, Mr. Tri Harnowo, SH., MM., LL.M., MA, is whether the formation of the PPKS Task Force is for the campus’s reputation or the protection and enforcement of victims’ rights. The Capansel who had the opportunity to answer this question said that forming the PPKS Task Force, it meant that Universities Prasetiya Mulya was ready to provide protection for victims of sexual violence and that later the reputation of the campus would increase with good handling of sexual violence that might occur.
Panelists from outside Prasetiya Mulya, Mrs. Yosephine Dian Indraswari, M.Psi., also appreciated Prasetiya Mulya University as one of the private universities that has started the process for the formation of this PPKS Task Force. Mrs. Dian said that actually when Permendikburistek No. 30 of 2021 appeared the main target was for State Universities (PTN) to form PPKS Task Force in higher education environments. In 2023, 100% of PTNs have formed the PPKS Task Force and the next target is Private Higher Education (PTS). According to Ms. Dian, not all PTS have a Selection Committee and PPKS Task Force in their environment, “This is an appreciation for Prasetiya Mulya for starting a pretty good initiative to start the process of forming the PPKS Task Force”.
