Fachry Hasani Habib is a lecturer in the School of Law and International Studies at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, specializing in the field of public international law and digital technology. His research focuses on the intersection of emerging technologies and regulation, particularly on how digital advancements like artificial intelligence impact legal structures and governance. His educational background also fuels his interest in sustainability and marine environmental protection, especially in the context of climate change.

He has published extensively on topics which can be seen in some of his notable works such as publications in IOP Science on climate change litigation and co-authoring a book chapter entitled “Penyelesaian Sengketa secara Online (Online Dispute Resolution) dan Akses terhadap Keadilan (Access to Justice) di Indonesia” (Online Dispute Resolution and Access to Justice in Indonesia). He was nominated as a favorite columnist by Hukumonline in 2024 for his article on AI regulation in Indonesia.

In addition to his academic contributions, Fachry Hasani Habib has extensive professional experience, having worked as a senior legal specialist at Tokopedia and as an associate at a prominent Jakarta law firm. He teaches courses on Internet Law, Cyber and IP Crimes, Lawyering in the Digital Age, and Maritime Law. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit at the School of Law and International Studies, where he actively contributes to enhancing academic standards and the quality of legal education.
