About Property Project Management (PPM)

The Property and Project Management (PPM) Unit, previously known as Property, Asset, and Facility Management (PAFM), is a division within the Prasetiya Mulya Foundation. PPM’s primary goal is to support the operations and management of the various academic and administrative units within the Prasetiya Mulya Foundation and Universitas Prasetiya Mulya. This support ensures the smooth and efficient execution of the university’s core functions of teaching, research, and community service, across both BSD and Cilandak campuses, as well as off-campus locations. By combining expertise in property and project management, PPM directly engages with academic and non-academic activities led by faculty members, professional staff, and students – including managing campus areas and event preparations.

PPM is divided into three sub-divisions:

  • Facilities,
  • Technical,
  • Project Support and Services.

Its scope of work covers areas such as Helpdesk, Space Management, Housekeeping, Health and Safety, Engineering, Security, Parking, and Transportation, Property Design and Planning, Infrastructure, and Architecture. By collaborating across these sub-divisions to achieve continuous improvement, PPM plays an essential role in shaping the “face” of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya. In day-to-day operations, PPM is supported by outsourced staff from partner companies, including cleaning services, security personnel, and field technicians.

Some services available online include operational vehicle reservations for YPM and UPM employees.

PPM Satisfaction 2023: May - September 2023 Survey Results

The Property & Project Management (PPM) Unit conducts surveys regularly, twice a year. In this update, we are pleased to present the results of the May to September 2023 survey, which was conducted in October 2023. The survey was completed by 93 staff members and 482 undergraduate to doctoral students from both Cilandak and BSD campuses.

The survey used a rating scale from 1 to 4, where 1 = Very Poor, 2 = Poor, 3 = Good, and 4 = Excellent. The survey categories were divided into several sections based on the available service units, including:

  • Transportation
  • Housekeeping and Ground Waste
  • Space Management, Helpdesk, and Office Support
  • Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
  • Energy & Engineering
  • Security & Parking

Universitas Prasetiya Mulya sets an internal minimum standard score of 3. The survey results showed that the lowest score was in the OHS category at the Cilandak Campus, with a score of 3.269, and the highest score was in the Housekeeping and Ground Waste category at the BSD Campus, with a score of 3.678. Overall, this indicates that user satisfaction has met the university’s minimum standards, with scores above the “Good” category.

Based on these survey results, the PPM team has gradually implemented performance improvements in areas such as Parking Spaces, Building Renovations, Personnel, Information Signage, and Lighting.

The revitalization efforts carried out include:

1. Adding new parking areas across from Lobby 1 at BSD Campus.

2. Installing new mirrors in the Men’s Prayer Room at BSD Campus.

3. Installing new mirrors in the Women’s Prayer Room at BSD Campus.

4. Repainting the signage for the building names at BSD Campus.

5. Renovating the faculty offices at Cilandak Campus, including ceiling upgrades (before and after).

6. Revamping the canteen and dining hall areas at Cilandak Campus.

The PAFM team will continue to implement continuous improvements to ensure smooth teaching and learning processes at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya and to meet the needs of the university’s tridharma activities.
